Description: Prior to COVID, from 2014 to 2019, 22% of all deaths in Ontario occurred in a LTC facility. And that number will surely rise as the aging population moves toward the end of life. Often people in LTC are frail, elderly and nearing end of life. LTC is often a person’s last home.
