SUMMARY:Spiritual Care Community of Practice – Series 2: Spiritual nature of living our losses (part 2)
DESCRIPTION:Sessions will run from August 2024 to April 2025.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis community of practice\, in partnership with the Canadian Association for Spiritual Care\, centers around the understanding and application of spiritual health and its diverse meanings within the context of palliative and bereavement care. The goal of this community is to create a space for healthcare professionals\, systems leaders\, spiritual care practitioners\, and psychospiritual therapists to come together and deepen their understanding of spirituality in palliative and bereavement care. \nThis series will help build on foundational knowledge they’ve acquired and allow them to share and communicate their experiences and support each other’s understanding and caring for the spiritual needs of palliative and bereavement care clients\, friends\, and families. \nThis second series will be made up of 6 sessions that will be delivered bimonthly and will cover a broad range of topics. Each session will point learners to relevant resources for further study and practice supporting the topic covered. \n\nSpiritual nature of living our losses (part 2): January 21\, 2025\, from 1:00–2:00 p.m. ET\nSpirituality of grief and bereavement: February 18\, 2025\, from 1:00–2:00 p.m. ET\nMAID bereavement: April 8\, 2025\, from 1:00–2:00 p.m. ET\n\nInterested in becoming a part of this COP?
