DESCRIPTION:The Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Provider (Blended Course) aims to improve outcomes for adult patients of cardiopulmonary arrest and other cardiovascular emergencies through early recognition and interventions by high-performance teams. Through didactic instruction and active participation in simulated cases\, students enhance their skills in the recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest\, immediate post-cardiac arrest\, acute dysrhythmia\, stroke\, and acute coronary syndromes. \nREGISTER NOW! \nPRE-REQUISITES \n\nCompleted ACLS Pre-course Assessment. Passing score 70%.\nCompletion of this Part 1 module\, including passing of the written exam. Passing score of 84%.\nValid BLS certification from Heart and Stroke Foundation (within 12 months at the time that you attend the part 2 in-person component).\n\nWHO SHOULD ATTEND? \nHealthcare providers who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies (physicians\, physician assistants\, nurses\, nurse practitioners\, registered respiratory therapists\, dentists\, dental assistants\, etc.)
