DESCRIPTION:Conference Flyer \nThis McMaster University annual event is highly acclaimed for 30+ years. It has received accreditation for 15+ CPD credits with both the Canadian College of Family Physicians and the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons. \nTarget Audience\nHealth Care Professionals\, including physicians\, nurses\, spiritual care providers\, social workers and other disciplines who: \n\nProvide a palliative approach to care within various settings: primary care\, long-term care\, acute care\, home care\, and hospice.\nHave completed or plan to complete the Pallium LEAP (Learning Essential Approaches to Palliative and End-of-Life Care) prior to June.\n\nOverall Learning Objectives\nBy attending this activity\, participants will be able to: \n\nManage complex physical\, emotional\, ethical and social issues\, including pediatric to geriatric populations.\nDevelop enhanced collaborative practice skills and forge new inter-professional relationships.\nApply a palliative care approach in life-limiting illnesses\, including cancer\, cardiac\, renal\, respiratory\, dementia\, and other neurological disorders.\n\nClick here to register
