SUMMARY:MASCC/AFSOS/ISOO 2024 Annual Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The 2024 Annual Meeting will be hosted entirely in-person. \nThe Scientific Program will be hosted on Thursday June 27 to Saturday June 29. Sessions are scheduled from 8:15 AM – 5:30 PM on Thursday\, 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM on Friday\, and 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM on Saturday. \nMASCC will host the Board of Directors meeting\, Study Group Leadership meeting\, and Editorial Board meeting on Wednesday June 26. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer (MASCC)\, the Association Francophone des Soins Oncologiques de Support (AFSOS)\, and the International Society of Oral Oncology (ISOO)\, I am delighted to invite you to join me at the 2024 Annual Meeting in Lille\, France. Mark your calendars now for June 27-29\, 2024! \nThe Annual Meeting is the foremost international and interdisciplinary conference on supportive cancer care. It covers the entire spectrum of problems experienced by patients as a result of their cancer and cancer treatment. \nRapid advances in cancer treatment have led to numerous innovations in supportive care. At the Annual Meeting\, you’ll discover what’s new and what’s on the horizon in the diverse and exciting field of supportive care. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe overall theme of the meeting is to ‘Empower People Impacted by Cancer and Living with Toxicities’. SUMMARY:Lung Health COP: Pulmonary Fibrosis
DESCRIPTION:Lung Health Community of Practice\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSessions will be running from February 2024 to November 2024. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin us for the new Lung Health Community of Practice\, in collaboration with the Lung Health Foundation! Connect with colleagues from across Canada with a shared interest in integrating a palliative care approach for individuals with advanced lung disease. \nThis COP is ideal for interprofessional palliative care clinicians with an interest in lung disease and lung/respirology specialists with a passion for palliative care. \nMembers of this COP will have the opportunity to meet every 2 months with a panel of experts in the field to engage in case discussions and explore topics such as symptom management and models of care (including home care\, hospice\, and palliative care units). \n\nSymptom management in advanced respiratory illnesses: September 18\, 2024\, from 12:00–1:00 p.m. ET\nPsychological distress and depression: November 27\, 2024\, from 12:00–1:00 p.m. ET\n\nInterested in becoming a part of this COP?
