DESCRIPTION:Health and social care partnerships provide a unique opportunity to address complex health and social needs. DESCRIPTION:Highlights from Three New Canadian Clinical Guidelines \nLocation: Zoom – The link will be in the confirmation email \nWill you be attending? \n\n\n\nRegister\n\nNot attending\n\n\n\nRegister Now or select “Not Attending\,” and your email will be excluded from further reminders about this specific event. \nEVENT DETAILS: \n \nFree for SRPC Members / $50 for General Admission\n  \nEvent Description: \nOver the last two years\, the Canadian Coalition for Seniors’ Mental Health (CCSMH) focused its attention on developing three new national clinical guidelines: 1) the assessment and treatment of anxiety in older adults; 2) the assessment and management of behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia\, and; 3) social isolation and loneliness in older adults. This webinar\, featuring the guidelines’ clinical leads\, will provide an overview of the processes for developing the guidelines as well as highlights of some of the key recommendations. \nCCSMH is a national non-profit organization affiliated with the Canadian Academy of Geriatric Psychiatry. Funding for the development of these guidelines was provided by the Public Health Agency of Canada (anxiety and BPSD) and an anonymous foundation (social isolation and loneliness). \n  \nLearning Objectives: \n\nUnderstand the processes used for developing the three clinical guidelines.\nBecome familiar with the key topics and recommendations for each of the three guidelines.\nConsider how to move these recommendations into clinical practice.\n\n
