The Worldwide Hospice Palliative Care Alliance (WHPCA) is excited to announce the theme for the year 2026! The theme is:
Pain Management: An essential part of palliative care.
The theme was chosen to re-emphasize the holistic treatment of pain in palliative care (physical, psychological, social, spiritual). The interaction among total pain components is often
complex, yet evident in patients with serious illnesses.
