Drawing on her work with the Coalition to Transform Advanced Care (C-TAC), the Center to Advance Palliative Care (CAPC), the National Patient Advocacy Foundation, the University of Washington’s MessageLab Serious Illness Messaging project and VitalTalk, this session will offer a fresh perspective on reframing palliative care conversations.
Dr. Grant will address common public misconceptions, examine evidence-based messaging strategies to promote palliative care access, and discuss strategies for effectively utilizing an online palliative care messaging toolkit.
