National Advance Care Planning Day
April 16
National Advance Care Planning Day is April 16 and it’s asking Canadians “If not you, who? If not now, when?”. Focusing on the first important step of the process – Think – the campaign invites people to consider who would make healthcare decisions on their behalf if they weren’t able to.
Here is how you can participate!
Share your voice!
- In a short video (less than 20 seconds), tell us “What does ACP mean to you?” … it could be about something in your professional life, an experience with a friend or family member, or you can tell us why ACP is important to you.
- Send your video to conversations@bc-cpc.ca before March 10.
Start thinking about ideas to build awareness in your community!
We will launch our ACP Day website on March 1, with everything you’ll need to run an awareness campaign in your community. Stay tuned!
