Holistic Spirituality and Care at End of Life
Recognizing and meeting a person’s unique holistic spiritual needs at end-of-life is a crucial element of home-based palliative care.
The Canadian Home Care Association invites you to their upcoming webinar exploring the role of holistic spiritual care in home-based palliative care.
Presenter Simon Lasair, a spiritual care practitioner, will discuss how spiritual care supports individuals and families by honouring personal beliefs, fostering meaningful rituals, and easing emotional and spiritual suffering. The session will also examine gaps in grief and bereavement supports in Canada and share a case study of a program addressing these needs after a loved one’s death.
