Presentation Synopsis:

Synopsis: Rituals and the therapeutic arts help us to acknowledge and honour in tangible ways, our human experience of living and dying. Rituals and art in its various forms can help us to recognise, feel, hold and release emotion that is often not easily put into words. We will explore the meaning and the possibilities that can be expressed in rituals and art, during this session.

Presenter’s Biography:

Kristy Gauld Dyer, Spiritual Health Practitioner, Hospice Calgary

Kristy has worked as the Spiritual health Practitioner at Hospice Calgary for 4 years for which Kristy views this as a genuine privledge. In her role, Kristy focuses on honoring people with compassion and humility. Kristy is married with two kids who are now in university. She cherishes her time with her family and any chance to be out in nature. On quiet evenings, Kristy loves immersing time with poetry.
