The session will walk participants through the who, what, when, and where of advocacy, as well as provide some strategies to determine the why and how you can take advantage of opportunities to advocate to governments to create the changes you want to see to help you and your patients.

After participating in this session, participants should be able to:

• identify opportunities and formulate a plan to advocate for policy solutions to improve the access to and the quality of palliative care.
