The Montreal Institute for Palliative Care invites you to the next session in their Community of Practice Series for Home Healthcare Professionals, “The Hidden Face of Pain in Palliative Care Patients.”
Led by Dr. Stéfanie Gingras and Dr. Marie Solange Bernatchez, this session will explore the concept of total pain as defined by Dame Cicely Saunders. They will discuss the important influence that psychological stress can have on the pain profile of palliative care patients and facilitate the identification of death anxiety in palliative care patients.
