Community-Based Primary Palliative Care Community of Practice – Series 3
The Community-Based Primary Palliative Care Community of Practice is back for a third series!
This community of practice (COP) focuses on supporting primary care clinicians in integrating primary palliative care into their practices and is specifically tailored for inter-professional primary health care providers across Canada.
Within this series, you’ll have the unique opportunity to learn from and collaborate with professionals from various healthcare backgrounds, creating a rich and dynamic interdisciplinary learning environment.
Each session is accredited. This one-credit-per-hour Group Learning program has been certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada for up to 11.0 Mainpro+® credits

- Communication
- Managing the last hours of life
- Palliative care for the structurally vulnerable
- Procedural management of complex pain
- Terminal delirium and palliative sedation
- Creative art therapy in palliative care
- What’s in store for Palliative Care in Canada: policy, advocacy, and implementation
- Grief and bereavement: beyond the basics
