Inequitable access to care, underfunded models of care, systemic racism, structural barriers to care, and a lack of person-centred hospice palliative care in all settings are but a few of the challenges. Now Is The Time for action.

Now Is The Time to implement the goals articulated in the Provincial Framework for Palliative Care to act on Leadership and Accountability, Funding, Provider Education and Mentorship, Integrated Care, Person and Family-Centred Care, Evidence and Data, and Public Awareness. Now Is The Time to implement recommendations and solutions that will ensure patients and families have equitable access to high-quality hospice palliative care called in call care settings.
