Understanding MAiD-Related Grief (BCBH Free Webinar)
Grief and loss related to Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) can bring forward a wide range of emotions. This experience is deeply personal and may feel isolating, particularly when others are unsure how to talk about or hold space for this type of loss.
This compassionate one-hour session explores the emotional, relational, and social impact of MAiD-related loss and compassionate care for those left behind. It is not an advocacy or medical presentation and focuses exclusively on the bereavement process. Whether your loss is recent or occurred some time ago, you are warmly welcome.
Disclaimer: BC Bereavement Helpline does not advocate for or promote Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD). This webinar is offered solely to provide compassionate, non-judgmental support and to hold space for individuals and families who are grieving a MAiD-related loss. Session
