Dr. Jane Poulson Lecture: Dignity, Personhood and Intensive Caring: New Insights into Patient Suffering

Join Dr. Harvey Max Chochinov in this upcoming session of the McGill Palliative Care National Grand Rounds Programme as he explores the complex interplay between dignity, personhood, and intensive caring in the context of patient suffering.

Drawing on decades of pioneering research in palliative and end-of-life care, Dr. Chochinov will present key empirical research in palliative and end-of-life care, examine the role of human dignity in clinical settings, and introduce the core principles of intensive caring, offering practical guidance for improving care for patients facing serious illness.

This session is accredited and will be delivered in English, with French closed captions available for online attendees via Zoom settings.
