Overview: Registration is now open for this year’s UBC Division of Palliative Care CME Day! This year’s theme is “When Organs and Spirits Falter: Palliative Care beyond Cancer”, focusing on practical approaches to non-cancer diagnoses, which are especially challenging to manage in a world where data and practice patterns remain focused on cancer patients. This includes not only cardiac and neurological disease, but also existential and spiritual distress. You will also come away with tips for prescribing methadone and approaching palliative emergencies. Register by October 13 and take advantage of early bird rates!
